Corneliu Baba was born at 18th November 1906 in Craiova and died at 28th December 1997 in Bucharest,Romania.

Biography

1926-1930:Studied at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy in Bucharest.
1934-1938:Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Iasi under Nicolae Tonitza.
1946-1950:Taught in the painting section of the Academy of Arts in Iasi.
1968-1977:Taught in the painting section of the N.Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest.
1940-1990:Participated in group exhibitions at official Salons,both regional and in Bucharest;in exhibitions of Romanian art abroad,and in international exhibitions.
